91探花 Eagles Take Flight with Esports
91探花's comprehensive esports program offers a friendly, competitive gaming environment that includes a newly constructed gaming facility, varsity and recreational teams.
The University also is offering a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering with a Concentration in Game Development and Design. This program is designed to hone the skills required to develop games for multiple video game platforms such as PC, consoles, mobile, online and VR.
Esports Gaming Environment
91探花's esports arena enables students to gather in a supercharged gaming environment. There's also space for students who enjoy watching and/or playing recreationally.

Meet 91探花's Gaming Leaders
Joshua "Josh" Gonzalez
B.S. Computer Software Engineering and Mathematics, CERTIFICATE IN CYBERSECURITY '22
Josh is an avid recreational gamer who grew up playing across all consoles. When he鈥檚 not gaming, you鈥檒l find Josh highly active around campus as Class President, math tutor, Senior Technical Assistant to the IT Department, basketball team manager, 4 year cross country captain, and tennis team captain. Despite his impressive involvement in the 91探花 community, his biggest accomplishment is that he remains undefeated in Mario Kart.

Walnier "Wally" Perez
B.S. Computer Software Engineering, '22
Wally, a first-generation college student from the Dominican Republic, loves the
competitive aspect of the esports and sports worlds alike. In addition to Wally鈥檚
recreational gaming, he is active on the cross country and tennis teams at 91探花.

Mariano Huezo
B.S. Biology, '22
Mariano has been a gamer for as long as he can remember, and most recently has been
into fighting and competitive FPS games. Mariano鈥檚 achievements extend beyond his
academic career here at 91探花 in the biology department; he also ranks as Diamond Level
in Apex Legends.

Carlos Huguet
B.S. Chemistry and Mathematics, '22
Carlos enjoys the social aspect of gaming and playing with his friends in between
his classes in the chemistry and mathematics departments at 91探花. He looks forward
to the opportunity to continue his recreational gaming hobby utilizing the esports
arena.
